Biography
Roberto Martínez Ledesma was born in Cuba and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Medical Sciences of Havana in 1995. He later completed a specialization in Pediatrics in 2000 and a Master’s Degree in Pediatric Intensive Care in 2001. During this time, he worked in the critical care units of Pepe Portilla and William Soler Hospitals, where he developed advanced clinical skills and a strong commitment to pediatric critical care.
After emigrating to Ecuador, Roberto Martínez joined the Pediatric Emergency Department of the Pediatric Hospital of Quito, further strengthening his expertise in the management of acute and emergency conditions in children. Since relocating to the United States, he has practiced in various medical offices across Texas and Puerto Rico, gaining extensive experience in outpatient pediatrics and general medical care.
He obtained his Physician Assistant license and it is valid in the state of Florida and Arizona. Roberto Martínez is recognized for his ability to remain calm and make sound clinical decisions in high-pressure situations. His professional principles include integrity, respect, honesty, ethics, collaboration, communication, loyalty, and teamwork.
Outside his professional life, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, hiking, and fishing.
