DIEGO CARDONA

Medical Doctor with 20 years of experience in chronic illness management, internal medicine, and primary care. After earning a medical degree from the University of Quindio in Colombia in 2006, he gained experience working in internal medicine services with an emphasis on chronic illnesses, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes. He then went on to gain extensive clinical experience as a house physician at Palmetto General Hospital in Florida for over a decade. In 2025, he further advanced his qualifications by earning an APRN degree with a specialization in Family Medicine from MRU. 

With a strong commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care, he integrates a wealth of experience in managing chronic diseases, while providing preventive care for patients of all ages. His practice is informed by holistic medicine, utilizing evidence-based strategies that combine conventional treatments with complementary approaches to address the whole person. This includes a focus on nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and integrative therapies, alongside the latest medical research and clinical advancements, to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. 

Out of work, he enjoys running, listening to music, playing saxophone and staying informed on advancements in functional medicine and nutrition.
